Clos de la Torre extra virgin olive oil is born in the highest lands of Alt Empordà (Girona), specifically from estates nestled in the Alberas Natural Park and the municipality of Garriguella. This exceptional blend marries three varieties: Argudell (a centennial local cultivar), Picual (from Jaén), and Frantoio (from Tuscany). Harvested early between November and early December to preserve each olive's integrity, it's cold-pressed at a controlled 24-27°C and kept unfiltered to retain maximum polyphenols. On the nose, it enchants with bright fruity notes of chlorophyll, green tomato, apple and walnut; on the palate, a distinguished bitter and peppery finish emerges. Sublime with grilled meats, slow-cooked stews, toasted bread, and as a finishing touch for vegetables and pasta. Award-winning Prestige Gold at TerraOlivo 2018.
